Brown is the colour of warmth and comfort and everything familiar.
Like chocolate chip cookies, and coffee .
Like the perfect brown crust of a bread.
Like the colour of my skin and the depth of his eyes.
From my corner of the world, these are the browns which caught my eye.
Bricks waiting for the trial by fire.
