Where is Your Halo?

Saint, where is your halo?
Were you not born with one?
It shone bright then.
First you lost faith
You left it where it fell
In that vast field of struggle.
Your halo dimmed
So did your hope,
When you killed your dream.
Cynical and skeptical
Ruled by need and greed.
From Saint to a sinner
No more halo now.
Now you worship saints
You were one too.
